Take heed, Uganda Christian University Mukono is at it again. Last year September, the university defied all norms and culture perceived to be upheld by all universities around Uganda when it introduced morning prep at the institution.
Many students were left in disbelief albeit showed no signs of defiance to the university’s new arrangement. The university student’s calmness proved a motivation to the intuition’s administration to provide more to their kids.
Now, Uganda Christian University has introduced night prep to its academic timetable.
As of this evening as the normal student elsewhere is patching up last dots and getting ready to chill after a long day sited behind that lecture board, somewhere deep in Mukono around Bugujju an estranged UCU chap is rushing to his/ her Kazigo [hostel] to prepare and gear up in sweaters, winter jackets to hit the library.
Many of these subservient students have already been spotted padding arm in arm all donned in jackets and baggy attire ready for the cold night that awaits them while they stroll to the campus gates whilst others have been seen early birding restaurants to have supper as early as 6pm.
The university’s administration claims the time indicated on the timetables was a typing error and will be rectified in the future. For now as we speak, talk of team no sleep #TNS direct your thoughts to UCU Mukono, the university that never sleeps.
