A suspected thief will live to be reformed from his ways of theft after he was ‘baptized’ with rains of slaps and kicks nearly sending him to his early grave. On a chilly evening in the alleys of Wandegeya, noise and chaos clouded the area as angry dwellers descended on youth who was allegedly caught stealing a side-mirror from a parked car.
The man of about 27 years was beaten to comma at Makerere University small gate for attempting to steal car side mirror.
Locals ganged up and beat up the suspected thief at the University Hall Small gate and for a number of hours, Police had not arrived to take him to hospital.
There has been an influx of thefts at the area and dwellers were overly angry.
