Makerere University has released the list of successful candidates in the 88th Guild election conducted on Wednesday, Nov 30, 2022.
According to Mr Edrine Nsobanyi, the chairperson of the 88th Guild Electoral Commission, the elections were a success and newly elected candidates will serve the students’ community effective December 2022.
“According to Guideline 1. of the Makerere University Guidelines for conducting elections of the 88th guild, I declare the following candidates on the lists attached herein as the successful candidates,” his letter dated Dec 01, reads.
The list includes all candidates right from the top most position of Guild President, Students Games Union, Students Common Room Chairpersons, SCR Disciplinary Secretary, SCR Finance Secretary, SCR General Secretary, SCR Healthy Secretary, SCR Sports Secretary, Students Guild Tribunal, College Guild Council and Guild Representative Councils at different levels.
