Makerere University has announced a re-advertisement for undergraduate private admissions for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The call is is follows the release of the undergraduate lists and more slots are now open to Ugandan, East African, and international applicants wishing to join the ivory tower and Makerere University Business School (MUBS) campuses.
Applicants must have either the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five passes or its equivalent, and at least two principal passes at Advanced Level (A-Level), obtained at the same sitting.
Day programme candidates must have sat for A-Level in 2020, 2021, 2022, or 2023. For evening and afternoon programmes, there is no restriction on the year of sitting A-Level. Relevant degree or diploma holders from recognized institutions are also eligible to apply.
Applications must be submitted online via the Academic Information Management System (ACIMS). The deadline for applications is Friday, July 26, 2024.
The university cautions applicants against submitting forged documents and emphasizes the importance of using the correct programme names and codes during application.
