In a meeting held on sunday 5th August, lecturers asked government to issue out to them an enhanced salary structure with arrears of July being catered for effective this month. However, these lecturers are not sure if the government will be able to fullfill their promise saying that the meeting will be reconviened for a way forwad in case the government fails to respond.
