Abbas Luyombo is a third year law student at Makerere University and is currently serving as the guild minister of justice and constitutional affairs of the 85th government under Kateregga Julius.
Luyombo, who doubles as the Guild Representative Councillor for the School of Law, is one person who leaves many people in awe of how consistent he is when he sets out to do something. He derives this kind of consistency from his much love for leadership because he believes that a good leader should serve diligently and consistently.
His close associates describe him as a bold, strong, committed, peace- loving and determined person who likes to achieve his set goals. He is a go- getter who dreams big and likes to do all it takes to achieve. It’s therefore no doubt that his boldness and ingenuity have seen him succeed in most of his errands, winning leadership posts whenever he contests, with the most recent being the GRC post he holds at MAK law school.
He is outspoken, a good orator who moves masses, so charismatic ,fun, humble and a harmonious person. He is a celebrated debater who has scooped many prizes since high school and has also represented Makerere University at debate competitions with the most highlighted ones being the East African Debate in 2018 and the Pan African debate championship in 2019.
He likes to socialize with friends, he is so passionate about reading in order to better his oratory skills.
