Nation Television (NTV) Uganda’s seasoned journalist and senior News reporter, Sudhir Byaruhanga dominated some social media space today after he revealed that he is, what he is, because he went to Uganda Christian University(UCU) which according to him, is ‘the best university in Uganda.’
Little or nothing was known about this award-winning news reporter for he is more of a quiet public figure who indeed appears seasonally on our TV screens.
In an up-close talk with alumni courtesy of UCU’s #OurFamilyOurPride feature on the university facebook page, Byaruhanga revealed more about his campus life during his time at UCU.
“I am what I am because I went to the best University in Uganda, UCU. Besides studying MASSCOM, I learnt a lot during my stay at UCU.” Byaruhanga said
The UCU alumni lauds the university for well-shaping his future because of the holiness and Christian doctrine upheld there.
Throughout his time in highschool, UCU was always Byaruhanga’s dream university and worked as hard as his ambitions yearned to join that University, he says.
He further commends the lecturers who were always committed to give out quality and thorough teaching.
“UCU was my dream University in Uganda because the lecturers were always committed, and I was never worried about missing my papers or being maliced” he adds
The NTV reporter attended Mbarara High School for Uganda Certificate of Education and UACE (Advanced)
Byaruhanga is determined now, more than ever to keep his goals straight in the Media and Journalism industry to serve to the best of his profession and who according to him, the sky is the limit.
