Makerere University Vice Chancellor Prof. Barnabas Nawangwe yesterday reminded finalists to pay their remaining balance in time, a head of their exams scheduled to be held at the end of November till early December.
Nawangwe made the remarks yesterday morning while launching the university’s fundraising campaign to re-construct Ivory Tower which went up in flames 0n 0ctober 20th.
According to Nawangwe, the finalists had over 8 months to look for the money and they are expected to pay before sitting for their exams.
“Without payment you will not sit for exams. You had 8 months to look for fees. Please pay.” Nawangwe said.
Makerere University medical finalists will start reporting for studies this Saturday, 3rd October 2020 while other final year students will have to wait until October 19th.
In other news, the university administration yesterday launched the official contribution channels for support towards the restoration of their recently destroyed Ivory Tower which caught fire in the night of 20th September.
