Information coming in indicates that unknown goons last night stormed the residence of Makerere University outgoing Guild President Julius Kateregga and beat up the gate man as they looked for the People Power diehard.
According to Kateregga’s Facebook page, the unknown individuals who pretended to be his friends knocked on several doors after forcefully making their way into the place.
“Last night some goons came to my place claiming to be my friends , after being blocked by the person on the gate, they beat him up and entered and began knocking on different doors on our building looking for me.” Kateregga wrote.
Kateregga who wasn’t in the building also received communication that another clique knocked down Musiri David, another top Makerere University opposition figure. According to Kateregga, the group dragged Musiri into a Toyota Premio and whisked him away to an unknown destination.
Obed Derrick is another Makerere University opposition student who was reportedly attacked. Obed is an FDC diehard who has shown interest to become the next Makerere guild president. Obed has this morning alerted his followers on Facebook not to accept calls and texts from his number, apparently it was stolen.
“Attacked, phone stolen. Please don’t accept calls or texts from anyone using my line.” Obed posted.
Kateregga has accused the ruling government of attacking youthful opposition leaders. According to him, the regime wants to finish them all by imprisonment, torture and intimidation.
