Hundreds of Makerere University Business School – MUBS first year students were on Monday captured making their way to their respective departments to attend this year’s freshers orientation. Other freshers were spotted banging KB on campus with their newly created pals and they seemed not to be interesting in attending the orientation ceremony.
The first year students, who were excited to finally leave home spent nearly two years in vacation but the wait is now officially over.
There are several registration points stationed in the university premises where students can join several associations. Sanitizers, temperature guns and hand washing points have been put in place by the university in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Decked out in the newest trendy and fancy outfits, several good looking freshers were spotted on campus turning heads on their first day, the usual MUBS way.
MUBS’ orientation started with a meeting with faculty dean/campus directors and heads of department at 8am.
The faculties that showed up today include; Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business Administration, Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Accounting and Finance Department (regional campuses), Faculty of Marketing and Hospitality Management, and Faculty of graduate Studies and Research.
