Twitter is not a place to play around anymore. Newly appointed Finance Ministry Permanent Secretary Ramathan Ggoobi who happens to be a lecturer of economics at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) left the platform buzzing following a very solid response to a former student at MUBS who posted a reckless comment.
The student who we’ve only identified by his Twitter Bio – Patrick Neeza was left in a state of spiral after he posed a question to Ggoobi asking whether he should expect money following Ggoobi’s appointment to the top office.
“You taught us Uganda Economy at mubs.. I remember you talking about printing money as a poverty reduction intervation!! Now that you are there, should we wait for the cash?” Neeza posed the question in Dr Ggoobi’s replies section.
In response, lecturer Ggoobi said: “I’m sure you got a retake” moments before the tweet sparked a debate.
The whole debate all started from Ggoobi’s tweet indicating “Vaccine and Vaccination inequality on a simple graph”
