Kampala International University (KIU) community has been engulfed with grief after a body was yesterday discovered from a septic tank next to the University playground. The discovered body (in pieces) was reportedly a result of a gruesome murder.
The victim, Leonard Kato, a security guard affiliated to Timecop Security Group was allegedly slaughtered by yet to be identified person(s) that dropped him in the unfinished sewer.
A bystander during the discovery disclosed that Kato’s body would not have been found if the septic tank was closed.
“Whoever did this must have been in a hurry and forgot to close the tank. That’s why it was easy for us to discover the body since the opening is always closed,” an anonymous source revealed.
The source went on to disclose that the unfortunate incident could have occurred on Saturday night since Kato was last seen on the evening of that very day.
However, the exact cause of the murder is still abstract and Police investigations have commenced to get answers to the many questions surrounding Kato’s death.
