One of the dreams of every student of the pots graduate bar course in Legal practice at the Law Development Center (LDC) is to walk, clad in their graduation gowns in Binaisa Gardens. The gardens being a loose description of the venue where LDC holds her graduation ceremonies.
Today, plays to that excitement of the students as LDC has released a list of the names that will be graduating on the 21 June, 2019 this year when the institution will hold her 46th graduation ceremony.
The list only described as tentative shows up to 640 (571 from the academic year 2017/2018, others from the other years) students graduating with a post graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, 539 will be graduating with a diploma in law at the institution, and 43 graduating with a diploma in human rights.
It is possible the list is tentative to give room for students who might not appear on the list to appeal to the Center, or complete with the mandatory requirements if one is to graduate from the Center, if they have not done so.
About 800 students enrolled for the bar course in the year 2017/2018, with the names released, it means up to 250 students will not be graduating in this lot, but wait till the next graduation ceremony.
Congratulation to those who have made it.
