Wasswa Peter is a third-year student pursuing Bachelors’ degree in Pharmacy at Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) who has proved many students that he was gifted with multiple talents.
Wasswa aka ‘’Aiden Official’’ is known for his breakthrough song titled ‘’bilowozo’’ that has left many students yarning to fall in love due to the sweet lyrics in the hit.
The twenty-one-year-old medical-student started developing his musical career way back in primary six when he used to write down lyrics of songs of great artists by then.
‘’I started writing music in primary six, in senior two I was endorsed as a young promising writer and got involved in competitions organized by mubende FM. I kept on drafting several songs and also progressing with my studies,’’ He disclosed.
‘’In the previous covid-19 Lockdown, I sold my first song as a writer and later decided to start singing, I am a music producer too, movie writer, I like music so much. When writing a song, I just look at anything around me or even through imaginations which makes it easier for me to come up with realistic ideas,’’ He added
Among the challenges Aiden has faced include music promotion as a major problem, being bounced from stages. He also mentioned that some DJs ask for money yet they don’t play his music,
‘’As usual, I will continuously bring good music. I request the public to support me. To my fellow youth I can say it’s always better to follow your dreams and persistence, we shall find success, for my fans I request further support and always expect good music from AIDEN OFFICIAL,’’ He concluded.
