“Running a clothing line/Fashion Brand with passion and commitment, amidst the challenges, I have a group I work with so if something goes beyond my head and thinking, they help me get solve some staff and we keep on the trail. Whenever I dream more about my brand, I feel like nothing that stop it that keeps me moving. The demand as well keep s my head high, you cannot be put down when you have demand”, he explains

Challenges

His hustle has not been an easy one, he had to advertise his works on Facebook page and a blog to market the merchandise and being a market for the literate, he found quite a hard time.

“Campus has been trying to hinder my focus, it’s really so had to balance the two and the finances were limited so I couldn’t afford quality prints”, he adds

Achievements

“Eventually, my fellow course mates started believing and pushing the brand”, a jovial Shaffic asserts.

After the struggle, Shaffic has been able to raise money for upkeep all through and save his parents a burden. Earlier this year on February 9th, he officially unveiled his brand and made it official and this has seen the market grow to the huge capacity, from noticeable people that want to be dressed, to a bunch of students who want to join the movement of the youth Brand.

“I have received appreciations from the people I respect, those in the branding business”, he boosts

Asked about how much he earns from the hustle of clothing and branding, Shaffic told this website that On a good day, he can earn UGX 100k when he sells one Boot/Shoe at 50000/=, a Jumper at 30k and a T-shirt at 20k. On a bad day, he settles can manage to get 20-30k

Reaping from the hustle, Shaffic is now able to plough some profits to his Savings account and to keep up the trend. He also definitely throws some of it to his upkeep bank.

“At times when my parents fails to raise school fees for my kid bro, I break in and we join the money, I as well use the money to invest for the better”, he adds

Asked how he juggles his hustle and university calls, he intimates to Campusbee that this has been one of the hardest thing to take on as there is lots of work which becomes tight on his side since he does work for his business that is personal business and a company business where I work as an IT Specialist. With the heavy schedule, he has seen himself chopping some lectures when business calls.

What next for STIGA TOWN…

Nkugwa intends to start up an annual Fashion Party/Show and also start designing locally made shoes in Uganda and making STIGA TOWN a powerhouse brand of the sorts.

“So far so good, the journey has been overwhelming, the feedback and support have been tremendous. Having initially had challenges starting, we are not holding back. We want to take over Universities. We have had an exciting journey.

After I felt that my hustle is to earn a leaving, to lift up fallen souls, to make my dreams come true, to inspire and motivate. I started in the trenches now am seeing myself on the road. Am looking for a better life. My Hustle is my road to success
