Job Description
Responsible for ensuring that the units produced and other medical supplies procured, supplied, and dispatched by the organization adhere to established MOH/ISO Standards.
Key Responsibilities include;
– Assisting in the hiring and supervising of quality assurance officials and quality control inspectors.
– Overseeing investigations into incidents where manufacturing practices fail to comply with required standards and alerts other Q.A managers to these incidents and the resulting follow up investigations.
– Helping to manage all aspects of a plant’s quality control systems, including documentation of quality control, and monitoring the activities of material suppliers from outside of the company.
– Assisting in education of interns or officials in training of other departments about quality control processes.
– Helping in the preparation the budget for the quality assurance department.
Position Requirements
– Diploma in Pharmacy, Industrial Chemistry, Stores Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
– Additional training in the area of Quality Management of medical supplies is an added advantage.
– Must be registered with Allied Health Professionals Council and holding a valid practicing license.
– At least 2 years working experience in a busy pharmaceutical manufacturing concern
– Knowledge of and exposure to the current challenges in proper management of medical supplies.
