The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has announced its 2025 Internship Program.
Over 256 positions across various departments for a three-month period spanning July through September 2025 are up for grabs.
According to the announcement, the tax body is providing valuable professional experience opportunities in 13 functional areas, with the largest allocation of 100 positions dedicated to Domestic Taxes.
Other significant placements include 35 positions in Customs and 26 in Administration.
The program covers diverse specializations including Information Technology and Innovation (12 positions), Intelligence and Investigations (12 positions), Finance (10 positions), and Procurement (10 positions). Additional opportunities are available in specialized areas such as Internal Audit (8), Human Resources (8), Tax Academy (8), Strategy and Risk Management (6), and Performance Management (4).
Applications have opened today, Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, and will close on Tuesday, May 20th, 2025.
The tax authority emphasized that all applications must be submitted online through the official URA careers portal at https://careers.ura.go.ug, as physical applications will not be accepted.
