Every single girl knows the B-word. It probably rolls off the tongue as easily as rain drops falling from the sky. As easy as identifying a horny guy by all the sex and or sex-oriented jokes he makes, a single girl is identified by her affinity for saying the B-word. Bae!
It is probably not desperation but the human feeling of longing to know or revisit what life is like on the other side. The midnight texts, the endless calls, the constant check-ups and the gifts however small! It does not serve to help a single girl when the girlfriends around are all cuffed and she is the only one still free.
We all know the family pressure when parents send you to campus with the instructions to graduation with not only a degree but a potential marriage partner. The struggle is real especially with all the f*ck boys loitering looking for a meal to chew and spit right out. The advent of the blesser does nothing to ease the mind especially with wives going rogue and leaking nudes as well as getting physical.
The B-word is the single girl’s sweet release in reminding herself of what type of he who comes she should get. The idea that bae is also looking for her and can’t wait to get to know her and be all that she hopes he shall be is all packed in the B-word. Like anger that is released with a curse word. The loneliness is realised with the b-word. The new challenge is no longer a yes-day but a no B-word day.
