Last week, the dean of students at Makerere University called for nominations of interested parties to be a part of the 90th students guild electoral commission.
The nomination for EC candidates was opened Monday, January 15th, 2024 and closed on January 17th, 2024. Upon successful review of the applicants, a list of duly nominated candidates has been released today, 23rd January, 2024.
According to the Makerere University guild statute, students shall elect EC commissioners at college level, and these shall later elect an executive amongst themselves.
It should be noted that the duly nominated candidates for the 90th students’ guild electoral commission 2024/2025 will be voted for tomorrow, Wednesday 24th January, 2024.
The lections will be held virtually.
