At least seven aspirants have been nominated to participate in the people power Makerere University chapter primaries.
The seven include Ategyeka Prosper, Kizza Steven, Ssentamu Churchill James, Mugabe Job, Basalirwa Ismail, Ssebuganda Richard and Ssaku Peter.
The people power (NUP) primaries are slated for Monday, February 24th, 2025. The winner will hold the people power flag in the 91st Makerere University guild race.
People Power and/or NUP has produced guild presidents at Makerere University for the past five consecutive years. It’s flagbearer therefore stands high chances of winning the forthcoming polls.
Makerere University students will go to the polls on March 12th, 2025 to elect their 91st Guild President and leadership that will succeed Mr. Vincent Lubega Nsamba’s government.
