The electoral season has already garnered momentum with two candidates emerging as frontrunners in the race for the prestigious position of the 37th Guild President.
Ariho Lucky Rwabuturumba, representing the National Unity Platform political affiliation is poised to lock horns with Henry Ssebyatika, of the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
This election will mark a change of guard in MUST’s student leadership as the new guild president will take over from H.E Arinda Daisy who has completed her term of office.
The election comes at a critical time when university students at MUST have been vocal on various challenges, including academic resources, accommodation issues, and representation in university governance structures.

Campus political observers note that the election is likely to be competitive, with student voter turnout expected to be substantial given the strong campaigns already underway by both candidates.
