Eight candidates have been nominated ahead of the forthcoming coming Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) elections.
The eight candidates are Erima Adrabo, Mubaraka Bukenya, Ayebazibwe Hillary, Kyebarize Noel, Tumukunde Lium, Jasper Wendo, Musa Kiyemba and Maleka Simba.
Mbarara University students will go to the polls on August 5th to elect their 35th guild president.
The Mbarara University students’ top office is currently occupied by Bill Clinton Nasasira who doubles as the president Uganda National Students Association (UNSA).
National Unity Platform (NUP) candidates have won the MUST guild race for the past three consecutive elections.
The party elected Erima Adrabo as its Flagbearer in the 35th guild race and it’s looking forward to registering a fourth win in a row.
