The Silent Mojority team led by musician Bebe Cool yesterday held door to door mobilization of NRM supporters in Kotido in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19. Bebe Cool and other singers like Catherine Kusasira, Phina Mugerwa among others were spotted moving door to door distributing NRM T-shirts and face masks on the streets of Kotido.
Bebe was pictured multiple times kneeling down to Kotidocitizens before handing over the T-shirts as well as reminding them to vote for President Yoweri Katugata Museveni come 2021. According to Bebe Cool, Museveni is the only able candidate whose works are seen through the speed at which the Uganda economy is growing, steadily.
Bebe Cool later took it to his twitter account to announce his move to abandon processions and embark on door to door mobilization.
“As a way of following SOPs to reduce spread of COVID-19, we have abandoned processions and embarked on our new strategy of door to door mobilization.” He tweeted.
The Silent Majority team has continued to visit several parts of the country where President Museveni is expected to hold meetings with NRM leaders. Museveni yesterday met KotidoNRM leaders and newly elected flagbearers ahead of the 2021 general elections.
Museveni decided to hold meetings with small groups of people in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19.
