Thousands of Gulu District locals have today thronged the city to welcome the Silent Majority team led by singer Bebe Cool. The team arrived in Gulu City this afternoon to mobilize NRM supporters ahead of the 2021 general elections.
While making his way to Gulu, Bebe Cool was assured by a section of young people that they will vote for President Museveni come 2021, adding that Gulu has been and will always be an NRM territory. The excited Bebe Cool instantly gifted the NRM diehards with free T-shirts and masks before taking quick selfies amid jubilations.
Bebe Cool’s convoy also included singers Big Eye and Catherine Kusasira whose presence added life to the city. The Silent Majority team decided to visit Gulu on the same day President Museveni was meeting Gulu NRM leaders and we cant ignore the fact that Bebe yet againg proved to be NRM’s most valuable asset.
Museveni will traverse the whole country meeting small groups of people with the aim of explaining and emphasizing his newly launched manifesto dubbed “Securing Your Future”. He will also be campaigning every evening on TV in a bid to avoid crowds that would spread COVID-19 further.
Gulu is the first District in Acholi region to host President Museveni’s scientific campaigns that kicked off last week from Luweero.
