Uganda Christian University (UCU) Kampala campus recently elected a new student leadership team.
Ivan Hiire Mwiima won the election for Guild President, defeating Alinda Aaron.
Yesterday, Ivan Hiire Mwiima was officially sworn in as the 27th Guild President of Uganda Christian University’s Kampala campus.
Abram Egweru was also sworn in as the new Guild Speaker.
The ceremony marked the start of the new student leadership administration tasked with representing the interests of the UCU Kampala student body.
Mwiima and Egweru will now lead the university’s 27th Guild administration, tasked with serving the interests of the student body.
The incoming leadership will be responsible for advocating for student concerns, organizing campus activities, and collaborating with university administration.
Their tenure will be closely watched by stakeholders in and outside of UCU Kampala community.
