Ugandan singer Alexander Bagonza, popularly known as A Pass is set to stage his maiden concert on January 31st at Kampala Serena hotel.
A Pass promised to give his fans a show of lifetime with performances grouped in four categories to cater for all the genres he does. The artist castigated his fellow musicians who always wait for concerts so they appear to perform instead of buying tables to support.
“I have always posted artists when they have concerts. Some haven’t posted me but I don’t care. I am not here to make friends. I am here because of the fans and they will have a great show,” A Pass said.
A Pass also alleged that ‘none of the big three (Bobi Wine, Chameleon, and Bebe Cool) can join words like I do, I am at a different level. If we talk about art, I am the artist’.
A Pass who actively joined the Ugandan music industry around 2014 hasn’t staged a concert in his 10 years music career. The artist has always largely relied on selling his music online.
A Pass’s concert will be produced by Fenon records. Being their first concert of the year, Fenon has promised to give fans the best production.
