Earlier reports indicated that the chic who’ll be replacing Anita Fabiola at the Serena based NTV Uganda, Shafigure Kitaka will be starting jobo real soon. Campusbee has learnt that Shafigure (but that name) turned down the offer by Buddies Productions to host the ‘Be My Date’ show. However, Shafigure insists that reports on various online platforms sites indicating that she will be replacing Fabiola are baseless and unfounded and that Buddies Productions has never approached her.
However, a source in Buddies productions told us otherwise; “She is a close friend to Fabiola and I think the reason she is not decided on taking on the offer is cuz she feels it’ll look like betrayal on the side of her friend,” a source told Campusbee.

“I am aware of the recent story doing the rounds in the social media that I am prospective replacement for Anita Fabiola at NTV “Be My Date” show. I would like to CLARIFY to all my friends that the story is completely false. While I empathise with Anita Fabiola for the unfortunate circumstances she lost her post, I am not and have no intention to become the next presenter of the said Serena based TV station show.
I would like to thank all my friends and acquaintances that brought the story to my attention. Lastly,may I take this opportunity to inform reporters who have sought or requested for interview that there will be no need for such interview. I hope that this post will put the story to a respectable rest. We truly live in a wonderful town and beautiful country. Thank you.”
