As we write this, Bebe Cool hardly has ten members in his Gagamel Phamily WhatsApp group. 

Hell has broken loose in the Gagamel Phamily camp since Bebe Cool appeared on Aljazeera praising and lauding President Museveni’s election victory. “Sane and sober” fans of the “Go Mama” President woke up on the wrong side of the right bed this morning and decided to quit the camp’s WhatsApp group after their favourite artiste last night went ahead to defend President Museveni’s victory on the international channel.

Appearing on Aljazeera’s #AJStream last night, that hosted Ugandan youths to talk about the recently concluded elections in the country, Bebe Cool noted that Museveni’s victory was well deserved and that he won without any sort of rigging.

After watching the show, many fans of this raggae/dancehall musician could not take the obsession of ‘their’ artiste with President Museveni anymore; they left the group as Bebe Cool was still typing, trying to explain himself. He bemused at rate at which his fans have bailed out on him.

As we got done writing this, Bebe Cool was still typing….
