Named by BBC as Africa’s ‘Most Stale Artiste’, Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool is truly ‘kolaring ebyafayo’ (making history). The last buzz off the Gagamel camp is that self-proclaimed ‘Big Size’ is set to offer five scholarships to university students who are struggling to pay their tuition fees.
“The Gagamel Website will be up in the next two weeks. Students who wish to apply for scholarships will have to log on to the website and fill in their details. We shall hold a ruffle draw on August 8 during my show to select the five lucky students,” Bebe Cool told journalists on Monday during a Press Conference at Serena Hotel.
Part of the proceeds from the August 8 ‘Best of Bebe Cool’concert will be used to pay tuition fees for those lucky five students. The show will take place in Victoria Ballroom, Serena Hotel. Red carpet tickets go for shs50, 000 and a table goes for shs3 milllion.
