The university fraternity plays a key role in the entertainment industry in Uganda. With the support we avail to music ‘stars’ and talent showcased by the fast rising artistes, we are a force to reckon when it comes to the growth of the entertainment industry. Well, the good news is Uganda Christian University student, Benezeri Wanjala Chibita, Makerere University’s Anita Kyarimpa Fabiola and Makerere’s Spice Diana are representing the campus fraternity in this year’s Mountain Dew Buzz Teeniez Awards (BTAs).
Benezeri is nominated under the category of best Hip-Hop song for his positive hip-hop track, Zuukuka, Anita Fabiola is nominated under the category of Teeniez Hottest TV Personality whereas Spice Diana is nominated in two categories; Teeniez Breakout Artiste and Teeniez Female Artiste.
