The country last night was amazed with news of the landslide victory of Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine a Bachelor of laws freshman at IUEA. Bobi Wine emerged victor with 25659 votes topping 5 other candidates in the Kyadondo East by-election.
In his Victory speech, Bobi said; “Music has always been a tool and an instrument I use to communicate to my people. I’ll apply the same to politics and bring the people together to transform society”
Bobi Wine has been an Edutainment (Education + Entertainment) musician doing motivational, educational Luganda hits like Ndi Muna Uganda,Tugambire ku Jennifer, Dembe,Carolina, Kabaseke, Ekikomando, Byekwaso, Bikwase Kyagulanyi among others which set a unique pace for his singing career.
With this nature where he perceives music as a blessing that he’ll incorporate into politics, it’s crystal clear that ghetto president is not about to part ways with music for politics but rather fuse the two to unite Ugandans.
