Earlier on, Campusbee reported how Multi-choice begged Makerere University Mass communication student and Be My Date presenter, Anita Fabiola to go and audition for Big Brother Africa Season Nine. Well, the latest info on our desk is that a couple of celebrities participated in the two day auditions that took place at Sheraton Hotel, fourth floor. Their excuse for celebrities did not work and were kick out on the first stage of the auditions.
The victims are Toniks, Dj Aludha, former Miss Uganda, Sylvia Namutebi and Mckenzie all failed to go through to the next round of the shunned auditions. Whispers around Sheraton indicate that most of these celebs participated against their will; they were also begged by Multi-Choice to take audition.
“A judge from South Africa known as Sbu was a no nonsense guy; he never cared about their celebrity stature. Most of them, especially Toniks appeared had no idea about what to say or do. He even failed the simplest questions,” our underground bee that was presented at Sheraton says.
On that note, here are my reasons as to why Uganda will NEVER win Big Brother Africa.
- The auditions are not legitimate. They are stage managed. If you don’t have ‘connections’ at Multi-Choice, you will never make it to that house.
- We normally send dumb representatives like Sharon O, who cannot play the mind games in the biggie house. How then do you expect Uganda to bag the $300,000 with ‘slow’ representatives?
- The artistes, actors, and socialites that end up in the house live a lie in real life, it’s hard for them to keep up with the reality in the house.
- Lastly, a good number of Ugandans do not subscribe to DSTV. Few Ugandans watch the show so it is hard for them to keep up and vote for their fellow Ugandan representative.
