The film, acted from within Makerere University amd neighbouring areas like Hot meal restaurant, is worth spending a few bundles on.
Celestial Sirens has a mix of Biblical and modern day characters with exceptional acting talents.
Concept and Inspiration
The film About Three Young Angels, Raphael, Uriel and Gabriel. One Of them, Uses their Angelic powers by healing a University student. These powers are not supposed to be seen by humans, or else, the world risks facing a big challenge.
The only option, to solve the mess, is for God to wipe out the earth with another flood. Lucifer, The Big Brother of these Angels is Summoned from Hell, to come to earth to solve this issue.
Lucifer comes with a few people from heaven and Hell: Elijah, Enoch, King Solomon, Eve, and Goliath. They convene at Midnight to forge a way forward, and Solomon finds an alternative solution to the problem. The angels agree to bann Angel Rapheal from earth, heaven and hell, sending him to a distant place for the next 3000 years.
Remmy Gerald says the inspiration came from the book of Genesis, from the story of Angels taking human daughters and having children with them forcing God to wipe out the earth.
“My Idea was “WHAT IF” we still had the remains of those Angels today walking in today’s world? And I tied it to the idea of wiping the world away so that I could have high stakes for the Film and set the complication early. I wanted a problem that could be big enough to bring Lucifer out of Hell,” he narrated.
As a writer, Remmy says he is inspired by stories that are out of this world. He loves writing about themes that turn heads to things rarely talked about.
