Speculations about how renowned musical icon Mowzey Radio died have taken root in the minds and timelines of people since he was announced dead on 1st Feb. 2018, just days after celebrating his 35th birthday at Case hospital.
Just when everybody had thousands of questions on what really transpired the night Mowzey was beaten into a coma that claimed his life, Producer Washington David came out to narrate the ordeal of what originally happened at De bar in Entebbe. You can imagine the reaction of the people on Monday morning. Many speculations geared up while others felt content with the closure from Washington.
But the whole point here is, the market leader, NBS TV continues to prove she’s in this business to dominate. No media house had thought to seek the people who were with Mowzey that night; most of the conversation surrounding his condition was speculation. NBS went an extra mile to seek out Washington and have an exclusive interview with him about what really happened.
They conducted a 45 minutes interview and the revelations were shocking because most people didn’t even know Washington was there that night. Before the interview ended, other media houses had jumped on it and started all sorts of trends demanding for justice and the likes, most of them were seen picking twitter content from NBS or referring to it to their audiences.
Washington appeared on Morning Breeze, an early morning show that was last year ranked as the most watched morning show in Uganda by IPSOS, a trusted market survey body.
Guess this is what NBS CEO Kin Kariisa means when he says; ‘Next Media is here to dominate, not compete’, they are surely walking the talk.
