The music industry is very competitive. Having given a platform to a wider array of artistes, Galaxy FM has enabled many new talents to pop up and flourish. The music is no longer now about just a few names but very open to everyone.
To excel therefore, now demands an exceptional product onto the market.
Every Year, Galaxy FM recognizes the best and most popular song of the year that has stayed longest on the urban youth radion station count down. This year’s winners are B2C and Radio and Weasel for their monster collabo Gutamiza. It stayed on the countdown for a straight 10 weeks.
Congratulations to them!
This is the second time the Kansanga based youth radion station is doing this and will continue to do so. Last year’s winner was Sheebah with Kwatako.
“Galaxy FM will continue to support Ugandan artistes in all ways possible. We will recognize more in the entertainment business at the Zzina awards scheduled for March this year,” the station, on its website, announced.
