From Kampala’s Streets to Los Angeles’ Lecture Halls
From the slums of Kampala to the bright lights of Los Angeles, Patricia Nabakooza is proving that dreams do come true!
The celebrated dancer and Ghetto Kids star has officially begun her university education in the United States, a major milestone in her remarkable journey from a young street performer to an international sensation.
Her talent manager, Mr. Kavuma Dauda, confirmed the exciting news, revealing that Patricia is now based in Los Angeles as she pursues her academic ambitions.
“Patricia is in Los Angeles; that’s where she went for studies. She first studied here briefly at Victoria University as we worked on her paperwork, but the time came, and she left,” Kavuma disclosed.
Despite her move to the U.S., Patricia hasn’t entirely cut ties with Uganda. She remains enrolled at Victoria University, balancing online classes with her new academic journey abroad.
Her ability to navigate both worlds—the high-energy stage of the Ghetto Kids and the rigorous demands of higher education—is a testament to her resilience and ambition.
Patricia’s rise to fame has been nothing short of extraordinary. From dazzling audiences with her dance moves to receiving worldwide recognition, she has now embarked on a new chapter—university life in America.
She has always emphasized the importance of education, and now, she is turning that dream into reality. Her journey serves as an inspiration to countless young Ugandans who aspire to rise above their circumstances and achieve greatness.
As a young talent living in a foreign country, Patricia’s safety and well-being remain a top priority for the Ghetto Kids management.
“We have people there who help us take care of these kids when we send them abroad. And since she’s a girl, you have to be careful with whom you entrust to take care of her,” Kavuma added.
Meanwhile, the Ghetto Kids brand continues to thrive, with even more international opportunities on the horizon for the talented group.
From viral dance videos to performing on global stages, and now pursuing a university education in the U.S., Patricia’s journey is proof that talent, determination, and education can change lives.
She is breaking barriers, inspiring a new generation, and showing the world what Ugandan talent is made of.
