After appearing in French Montana’s Unforgettable video, the Ugandan Ghetto Kids group has scooped a deal to perform at Bet Awards come Sunday 25th June 2017. An annual event to be hosted at Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, the Sitya Loss dancers will perform alongside French Montana and his Unforgettable collaborator Swae Lee.

Through their manager, the Ghetto dancers revealed the good news last evening when they were at Entebbe Airport preparing for departure.

The excited dancers also accompanied some selfies when they stepped on the plane as they couldn’t wait to perform at a history making event. Among other performers include American big names like Migos, Lil Wyne, Big Sean, Chris Brown, Future and many others.

More exciting news to the Ugandan Entertainment industry indicates that Urban TV Host Kabs Haloha and NTV’s Sheila Gashumba Will all attend the event for Red Carpet and Exclusive access shows respectively.

It should be noted that one time BET nominee Eddy Kenzo missed out at this year’s nomination list and no single East African artist was nominated for these awards.
