Launched in February this year, Vodafone’s JUMP has been an interactive and socially managed portal with exciting content that serves to enhance E-learning among the youth from all walks of life. The portal has been boasting of content on Education, Entrepreneurship, Inspiration and self motivation, and lifestyle & entertainment until recently when they added a music segment to it.
In a bid to #CreateTomorrow and give more power to young people in Uganda, Vodafone has yet again released an update to the JUMP portal to empower and encourage young creatives in the music industry by offering them a platform to share their music/audios.
The Music portal dubbed ‘JUMP Music’ supports Ugandan musicians by offering a platform from which their music can be streamed- and also a slot for up and coming musicians.
A student trying to make music in Kikoni, Banda, Nakawa, or from a Hall of Residence, don’t despair, here’s your chance to shoot up to the sky.
Vodafone youth focus
Ms Yemi Lawal, the Vodafone Regional Director, Youth Segment during the launch of JUMP early this year revealed that the telco is not leaving the youth behind.
