Last Friday night was quite an experience for Cindy Sanyu fans who turned up at Imperial Royale for her concert dubbed “A night with Cindy”. The lighting, sound, and performance were lit though the venue was not packed to the brim as a number of seats were left unoccupied.

In an event hosted by Mc Kats, Deedan, and DJ Nimrod, Cindy kicked off her performance with slow groovy joints (acoustic versions) who later switched to what she knows better (dancehall music).

The former Blue3 singer delivered a very powerful performance something that assured her fans that she is still one of the finest female performers in Uganda. The self-styled “The king herself” performed most of the songs she ever sang including her East African banger  “Tempo”  featuring Kenyan artist Dufla, who also graced the event.

Besides calling Cindy Uganda’s Nicki Minaj, Beyonce and Rihanna combined, singer Eddy Kenzo brought life to the Event who stormed the stage and warmed up the cool audience with his popular dance tunes. Among other celebrities who turned up for a night with Cindy include TV host Sheila Gashumba, Voltage Music, and many other city celebrities. Here’s the event through our lens.
