Iconic hip hop star Navio, real name Daniel Lubwama Kigozi, has announced a concert dubbed 20 years of Navio.
The concert will celebrate Navio’s musical legacy and his unwavering commitment in uplifting Uganda’s hip hop across boarders.
Slated for September 2nd, 2023 at Kampala Sheraton Hotel, the concert will reunite great hip hop stars at a single stage as they celebrate Uganda’s Navio.
Speaking at a preconcert pressor, Navio said the concert will be a celebration for all the achievements he has earned in the past two decades of doing music.
“Everything has to be on point. I have to show what those awards, days touring around Africa has taught me…It is a huge Celebration and I bringing it home,” he said.
The njogeleza hit maker will not only stop at the anticipated great concert but will also publish a book about his musical career.
The book will be launched on October 19th, a day after Navio’s fortieth birthday.
According to Navio, it is his responsibility to inspire others and the book with be a great source of inspiration for aspiring Ugandan talents.
The 20 years of Navio concert is organised by Talent Africa Group (TAG) whose mastery in events is only an assurance that the concert is worth breaking the bank for.
Tickets are going for as low as UGX 20,000 ordinary and UGX 50,000 for VIP while a table is at UGX 3 million.
