Bakuzaala ku Sunday hit maker Allan Toniks must have had the best year of his career in this lockdown hit time. Our snoops have gathered a series of pictures of the artiste supervising a construction site that we have been made to believe is his mansion in Buwate, in the outskirts of Kampala City.
Toniks, a Mbarara born artiste has serenaded the Ugandan music audience with his soothing voice for over 10 years now and is surely reaping from his sweat. After the mansion pictures that were making rounds on social media recently with Bobi Wine, Eddie Yawe, and Mikie Wine, Toniks must be looking to gracing the list of musicians with top tier mansions in Uganda; a list that includes Jose Chameleone and Bebe Cool as well.
Quite a number of musicians have struggled since March 2020 when President Museveni closed down bars and banned music concerts which were a major source of income for most singers. As Toniks is showing us, it seems some singers have always had other sources of income besides performances and they continued to thrive.
The singer declined to respond or comment on the story when Campus Bee reached him over the telephone. Calls to his manager were also futile as they all went unanswered.
