As many swayed away to enjoy their early weekend on Friday, somewhere in Kiwatule people gathered to get a glimpse of a premiere set to grace the NBS scene. The show which is dubbed ‘The Campus’ is to air every Thursday and Friday at 8.30pm on NBS TV. The Campus is to feature a tale of how life at campus is like in Uganda, it will include scenes from Hall, Hostel, and lecture rooms, the show is probably the best Campus show to grace Ugandan TV.
Starting off with hype, time check 8:30pm, veteran TV MC JK Kazoora started the live premiere of The Campus straight from the Buddies studios in Kiwatule which was also live on NBS Television. The event was also meant to introduce to the audience the cast of the series and whom shall be in our faces for the rest of the season.
There was plenty of food, plenty to drink and the dancing didn’t seem to stop as different groups of people were called to grace the stage in what seemed like a dance competition that no one would eventually win.
NBS TV’s C.E.O Kin Kariisa and C.M.O Pamela Adong also graced the event where he (Kin Kariisa) thanked Buddies production for creating a show that showcases Ugandan talent from the lowest level. He [Kin Kariisa] went ahead to promise all the support to buddies after which he went ahead to thank his team at NBS for being versatile and hard working.
