Ahead of his concert slated for Thursday December 7th, Nigerian born singer Wizkid has taken some time to learn about the Uganda culture. Wizkid was last evening spotted dropping by Prince Hassan Kimbugwe’s residence located in Mbuya.
The “Daddy Yo” hitmaker also visited the Buganda Kingdom shrine where he met up with Buganda Kingdom Prince David Wasajja for blessings ahead of his highly anticipated concert scheduled to happen at Lugogo cricket oval. He was given a Ugandan name Kimera.
Amidist tight security from the Uganda police, Wizkid moved around the shrine as he gathered information regarding the Kingdom culture. In a honest apology to Ugandans, Wizkid revealed that he can never intentionally cancel a show but explained that stopping his December concert was beyond his control.
