Makerere University 91st guild government, under the leadership of ssentamu Churchill James, put up a five star freshers ball on Friday night that excited thousands of students.
The post independence event had an energetic line up of artists such as John Blaq, Ritah Danchall, Ray G, Dax Vibes, Ava Peace and Ffeffe Bussi.
Ray G, who made his maiden performance at Makerere University, received a noisy reception as the crowd got excited before he could even sing.Western Uganda’s musical darling delivered beyond expectation.
The other highlight of the day was Ritah Danchall’s performance. The energetic dancer put up a challenge as no boy could match her dancing vibe.
Music aside, the event has a well decorated stage setup and good sound, adding colour to the function. The stage production was done by kainos Events.
