A few months have gone by ever since Pizza Hut opened its doors to the Ugandan market of pizza lovers. On Friday, Pizza Hut made yet another addition to its already tantalizing package of pizza combos and this time around focusing on the local spice. “The Ugandan” pizza was today officially introduced at the Bugolobi based Pizza Hut Pizzeria.
Pizza Hut Top Chef Bill Alley termed is as the homely pizza and briefly shared the innovation and uniqueness of the pizza making it a likable delicacy for Ugandans.
The Chief taster of the Ugandan Pizza was Director of Crown Beverages, Dr Maggie Kigozi who was delighted by the innovation of Pizza Hut. “It’s amazing and everyone should try it out,” she tweeted.
The Ugandan Pizza is the first innovation done in Uganda and is aimed at celebrating Independence with a special delicacy.
The pizza comes with a variety of ingredients such as Gnut, Mushrooms, Beef, Onions and Cheese for the vegetarians and Gnut sauce, mushrooms, Beef, Onions and Cheese for the non-vegetarian.
Pizza Hut has also tabled an offer this month of October to Pizza lovers to buy one large or medium pizza and get a Ugandan Pizza for only 10k.
