Tugume Wycliffe commonly known by his stage name Ykee Benda alias “Kireka Boy” has proven his worth in the music industry in just not more than 5 years and without a doubt he is here to stay.
While talking to him in his Mpaka Records studio based in Buziga as he prepared for his much anticipated 29th March #SingaConcert, here is a snippet into the Kireka Boy’s Campus memories as narrated to our reporter.
Which Varsity did you go to and which course did you offer?
I was at MUBS for a month commuting. I then got a scholarship in Algeria and I had to leave the country. While at Mubs I did Bcom and Algeria I did Chemical engineering.
Did you chop any lectures if yes, which ones specifically did you chop?
Haha I attended all lectures.
What’s the number of retakes you ever had and how did you manage to do them?
I was a very smart student and I never got a single retake in my stay in campus.
What was the first item you had while you were just joining campus?
My First item was a Television.
While at Campus ,which celebrity did you have a crush on?
I crushed a lot on Juliana Kanyamozi. Lol.
How often did you go out?
I was always broke saving for my music career.
What was your worst bar experience while at campus?
Embarrassing moment was when I hit a gal for fighting with my girl friend back then.
Who was your favorite Celebrity while at campus?
Moze Radio (rip) was my favorite celebrity.
During your concert, any treat for the campus students?
Almost every song on mine works for campusers so it’s for them all the way.
