The catalyst for this epic showdown? The captivating and alluring Sheilah Gashumba.
Our story begins with the irresistible Sheilah Gashumba, a name synonymous with glamour and allure in Uganda’s entertainment world. Known for her striking beauty and vibrant personality, Sheilah has been the center of attention for many prominent men in the industry. It seems her charm may have ignited the flames of jealousy and rivalry between current boyfriend Rickman and rumoured ex “Grenade”.
The Sparks Ignite
On a fateful night at La Terrezza, one of Kampala’s most exclusive hotspots, where the who’s who of Uganda’s entertainment elite congregate, Grenade and Rickman crossed paths. Our sources whisper that tensions had been simmering between the two artists for a while now, and it all came to a head when they both spotted Sheilah Gashumba sipping on her cocktail, looking as enchanting as ever.
The Brawl Unleashed
As the night wore on and the drinks flowed, so did the testosterone-fueled drama. Witnesses report that a heated exchange between Grenade and Rickman’s ‘boys’ quickly escalated into a full-blown bar brawl, with tables overturned and glasses shattered. Oh, the drama!
After what can only be described as a scene straight out of a blockbuster movie, security personnel rushed in to separate the warring artists…leaving Rickman with a cut lip and Grenade scampering for his dear life on a boda boda- leaving behind his car.
Grenade; “They want to kill me”
Grenade has come forward with a shocking claim – he says he was “almost killed” by none other than Rickman and his posse, all because of the irresistible Sheilah Gashumba! Grenade spilled the piping hot tea on a jaw-dropping encounter that went down at La Terraza. He recounted a nightmarish tale of danger, jealousy, and heart-pounding suspense.
As the evening unfolded, tension crackled through the air like electricity. According to Grenade, a seemingly innocent exchange of words quickly escalated into a harrowing confrontation between him and Rickman. Tempers flared, egos clashed, and it wasn’t long before fists flew and the room became a battleground.
In a trembling voice, Grenade revealed to his snapchat followers that he truly believed his life was in grave danger during the brawl. He claimed that Rickman and his crew were out for blood, unleashing a torrent of violence that left him battered and bruised. He said, “I was almost killed that night.”
Rickman issues statement;
Rickman, the one who was left nursing a cut lip at Nakasero Hospital, has issued a statement that appears to be a response to the Sunday night-Monday morning at La Terrazza. In his statement, he emphasizes that he does not support or endorse violence, but at the same time, he does not tolerate disrespect or violence against himself or those around him.
Rickman explained that he typically avoids going out to bars to prevent such incidents from occurring. He asserted that he is not seeking attention or trying to push any agenda through this statement. He also expressed gratitude for not retaliating violently during the incident, recognizing that “things could have taken a more dangerous turn.” “Worse could have happened to me but God still needs me on earth,” he said.
Rickman goes on to describe the incident that occurred between midnight and 2 a.m., where a verbal altercation among a group of people escalated into chaos and violence. He states that during this altercation, he was unexpectedly attacked by Grenade using a glass or bottle, resulting in an injury to his upper lip. Security personnel promptly removed him from the premises, preventing further escalation of the situation.
Full statement;
“I don’t condone violence but I also don’t tolerate disrespect and violence against me or the people around me . I don’t usually go out to bars to avoid such incidents. Am not clout chasing or pushing any agenda. Worse could have happened to me but God still needs me on earth.
This story is funny because it’s built on envy jealousy and drugs ( cocaine and ice in particular ) this guy has always tried to be in my business many times trying to cause some sort of chaos. I don’t talk to him and we are not friends and I don’t mind him because he adds no value to me. His character and vices are not compatible with my way of life.
What happened in the morning I think between 12-2am was that some guys were having a verbal altercation and it was more like banter and it turned into a scuffle and Chaos erupted so I stood up to see what’s going like everyone else did so out of the blue this drug addict hit me with a glass or bottle tearing my upper lip and the whole place went crazy.
The bouncers held me and took me out of the bar of course I was mad but I thank God that I never got the culprit in my hands cause petty petty stuff like that can cost a life. So my advice to this conflicted 2 brain celled druggy, this is or was a sign for you to change your ways . I leave you to the streets !!”
