Sauti Canvas, an initiative that gives young people living with disabilities an opportunity to exhibit their talents, promote disability inclusion through arts and music is back with season two.
The second edition of Sauti Canvas was unveiled on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at a meet and greet event held at NRG radio, one of the sponsors of the second edition of Sauti Canvas.
Christine Mawadri, head of business at NRG said Sauti Canvas stood out for them because they feel there is need to empower the disabled and make them embrace their talents and make good use of them.
She said the initiative targets their audience (18-25 year-olds) and they want to use it to reach out to as many people as possible.
“Our business is youth and youth is our business, we love them and they love us back because NRG is youth centric. We want to use this platform to reach all these places,”she said.
The second edition of Sauti Canvas is being held under the theme ‘We are able’ and those who wish to be part are at liberty to start expressing interest.
Sauti Canvas aims at breaking barriers and fostering, and supporting people with disabilities develop their talents.
