NTV Uganda news anchor, Sheila Nduhukire maybe throwing in a towel at the Serena based TV station come January- if rumors on social media are to go by. The young, enthusiastic Mbarara University of Science and Technology alumna is reported to have asked for an exorbitant amount of money as a gross salary if NTV is to keep her.
“She was promised that they will handle the issue and come to her terms. By then Josephine Karungi was away and she had promised not to come back in the country. So NTV management was in a panicky mood and wanted to keep Sheila. Yesterday Sheila was told to leave if she wants after Josephine came back. They are sorted with Sheila. Sheila wants a heavy pay for her services something-her mentor Maurice Mugisha is not in support of,” a source is quoted to have said.
Nduhukire joined NTV Uganda in 2014 after attending a fully sponsored media lab training by Nation Media Group in Kenya.
