He has been nicknamed Uganda’s Floyd Mayweather by his peers because of spending similarities and soon he might take over the showbiz world of Uganda.

Under his label The Money Team (TMT), Cameroon Gitawo will host his showbiz party named ‘Money and Gold’ on 30th December at Guvnor Uganda with Meddie Ssentongo and his TMT team.

The new money king has become a regular partier and has so far graced Abryanz Styles and Fashion Awards at Serena, Blankets and Wines at Uganda Museum, Zari All White Party at Guvnor Uganda and the latest being Arab Money Fab Party that was held at Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Friday night.

For all his luxurious antics of spending, Cameroon Gitawo is one of the most financially successful Ugandan business people based in Madiba land.

We’d say that Gitawo has more money than he can spend … but he is putting that idea to the test by doing some wild things with his cash. He travels with stacks of hundreds in Ziploc bags, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Gitawo as he is famously known, was born Chris Mbibo, raised and studied in Kampala, Uganda.

At the age of 18, he left Uganda for University of South Africa where he graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Business Administration.

In South Africa, he owns Kristel Property Group that manages more than 250 residential houses with a number of students’ accommodation blocks.

It also deals in developing, home renovations and property administration.

Gitawo also owns other businesses in the education sector.  He is also set to put up a business empire in Kampala starting early next year.
